AZ/TUC/Ecology/The Benton Shell Collection
From All4Education
The Benton Shell Collection comprises a large sea-shell collection created by Dolores Q. & Hugh S. Benton. This collection, built over a period of forty years, is supported by a fund begun by Lola B. Wager Brown White, Ph.D. and James H. Brown with contributions by the Morton Thiokol Corporation and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company. Dr. White is most generous in her support of students interested in educational and research opportunities utilizing the Benton shell collection. Funds are available to support graduate student research using the collection.
Further support of Drs. William T. White and Lola Benton White has enabled us to further enhance the educational, research and outreach capabilities and utilization of the Benton Shell Collection.
