Science and Mathematics Education Center - SAMEC

The mission of the Science and Mathematics Education Center (SAMEC) is to promote and support effective partnerships among members of the University community, and (a) K-12 teachers and administrators, (b) appropriate educational organizations at the local, state, and national levels, and (c) private business with a stake in science, mathematics, engineering and technology education. SAMEC serves as a bridge between the University of Arizona, community, K-12 schools, and the general public by supporting, facilitating and promoting outreach programs.
